HOW TO SPEED UP WEIGHT LOSS IN INTERMITTENT FASTING
When you do intermittent fasting, your main focus is burning your body fat. I'll share some tips on how to make this process faster. However, keep in mind that our bodies are different, so what works for me might not work the same way for you. It's all about trying and finding what suits you.
DON'T EAT ANYTHING. Many of us often ask: Can I have coffee with sugar? Can I add chia seeds? Can I eat even just a banana? The answer is NO. Consuming anything with sugar affects your insulin levels. It causes a sudden increase, slowing down your body's use of stored body fat for energy because it prioritizes burning the consumed sugar.
Intermittent fasting is simple because you have nothing else to do but NOT EAT. If you want this to work for you, try to do it for as long as possible. Remember to eat the right nutrients and include exercise, as this boosts your growth hormone and puts you in FAT BURNING mode (ketosis).Do your exercise before you break your fast. It's all about getting used to it. Beginners might feel different sensations, but it's about adapting.
WHAT'S THE BEST FASTING PROTOCOL? The best protocol is the one that fits your schedule. If you can manage 16/8, that's fine. If you can do OMAD (One Meal A Day), that's also great. Choose the one you think you can stick to in the long run.
TRY KETO DIET When you're on a keto diet, the main goal is to lower your insulin, which happens when you cut down on carbs/sugar. Your body switches from using Glucose to using Fats for energy once the energy from sugar/carbs is used up.
Combining fasting with keto accelerates the use of ketones and taps into your body fat for energy.
CALORIES STILL MATTER, even during fasting. You won't lose weight if you're eating more calories than you burn. You won't lose weight if you're eating enough to maintain your current weight.
You still need a CALORIE DEFICIT. Even during fasting, it might seem like it's fine to eat a lot since you're restricting eating hours, but that's not the right approach. Be mindful of your food choices.
I hope these tips help! Sending lots of love! 💕
